A simple apple farmer, Johnny thought of himself as a scrawny weakling who could never be a pioneer – until his Guardian Angel helped Johnny realize he has plenty to offer: apples to be grown once some seed was sown throughout the frontier. With a tin-pot-hat, the Good Book and a sack of apple seeds, Johnny (plussed with pewter and an apple-shaped base) marched off into history and legend, blazing his own special trail with his blessings three – love, faith and the apple tree. Johnny Appleseed is a 2008 members-only sculpture and will be available for order from May 2008 to March 31st 2009.. He stands 8 ¾” in height and comes boxed with certificate of authenticity.
